Biofield Tuning
I am Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner with Eileen McKusick’s Biofield Tuning training program. Ms. McKusick, the founder of the Biofield Tuning Institute, is a pioneering researcher, writer, educator and speaker in the fields of therapeutic sound, the human biofield, and electric health. Her book, Tuning the Human Biofield is a powerful introduction to this technology, and she offers many informative videos on YouTube.
The term Biofield refers to both the electric current that runs through the body and the magnetic field surrounding it. This field extends out 5-6 feet out from the body and is toroidal in shape. Inside this field lie memories of events, emotions, thought patterns, and apparently is linked with our subconscious mind. Â
Disruptive thought patterns and traumatic memories that have not been fully "processed" create disturbances in the energy waves of our Biofields. These disturbances create a mass of biophotons (light particles) that a tuning fork can locate. Similar to having a tangle of hair...the brush cannot get through.
Biofield Tuning is a sound/vibrational therapy designed to assess where the body’s energy field is blocked or not in harmony. The tuning fork, vibrating in a coherent wave pattern, then corrects the flow by entraining your own body's waves into coherence.
Biofield sessions usually result in clients feeling relaxed, at peace, and more present. All manner of "coherence and harmony" occurs such as: increased energy, better sleep, a desire to de-clutter, improved well being, enhanced creativity, clarity in goals, improved outlook, more vibrant relationships, reduced pain, the falling away of anger or sadness, and more. While results are highly individual, people consistently report feeling clear, light, and empowered.
There is the potential for detox symptoms as the body responds to a cleared energy, therefore, enhanced well-being practices are highly encouraged.
During a Biofield Tuning session we use weighted and unweighted tuning forks in the field around your body, occasionally using light touch to the body at times. While it appears to have promising emotional, mental, and physical health benefits, it is important to know we are not diagnosing or prescribing any health-related matters.
I encourage you to check out Eileen’s videos on You Tube and learn more if you are curious.
